DELIVERY & PICKUP INFORMATION

Your order will be delivered directly from Rooikraal Butchery by using our own vehicles to ensure all our products stay fresh and the cold chain as per regulation is not broken.

You can select to have your order delivered or opt for pickup at Rooikraal Butchery premises with a selection on the Checkout Page.

Please ensure you freeze your purchased products should you not use/cook them within 24 hours after receipt of the order.

DELIVERY OR COLLECTION TURN-AROUND TIME

No deliveries will be done during weekends or public holidays.

Public holidays and weekends will be excluded from delivery time calculation. Orders will be delivered within 48 hours except if that day falls on a weekend or public holiday.

DELIVERY FEES
We charge a fee of R30 per order, regardless of the size or number of items ordered in the Centurion and Midstream area and R50 per order in the Pretoria east area. Delivery for orders above R1000 is free in Centurion and Midstream Area and R1500 in The Pretoria East area and surroundings as per delivery list.

DELIVERY TIMES & AREAS
We deliver weekdays from Monday to Friday between 10h00 and 17h00 anywhere in Centurion and Midstream and Thursdays in Pretoria East and surroundings as per delivery list, except if a Thursday falls on a public holiday.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

Private bags and Postboxes are not a delivery option. We need a complete and detailed physical address. Please provide a contact name and number for the intended recipient.

If we need to deliver to an office or business, please ensure that all relevant information is supplied to affect a smooth delivery e.g., building name & number, floor, suite.

If your delivery address is in an estate or complex, please send us the necessary security code and instructions as soon as possible so there is no delay in the delivery process.

Purchases are only sent once payment has been made in full. When your order is ready to be delivered, you will receive an SMS or an email from the Rooikraal team with delivery information.

Although we endeavor to get your purchases sent in the allocated timeframe, there can be occasional exceptions. During promotional, peak periods, and holidays, we can experience higher than normal volumes of sales, therefor it is not always possible to guarantee the above timeframe. Please understand that delivery may take a little longer if this occurs.

Contact us should you want your product delivered sooner or overnight; there may be an additional delivery fee charged for this service.

Upon arrival with delivery onsite and no contact could be made to a person on-site, the recipient will be notified by SMS or call regarding the delivery. We will wait outside of the delivery address for a maximum of 15 minutes after notification. In case of non-delivery, the delivery fee will be non-refundable and order to be collected at Rooikraal Butchery premises.

PICKUP/COLLECTION INFORMATION & TIMES

You can select to collect your order at Rooikraal Butchery premises when placing your online order. The pickup date and time can be selected on the Checkout Page. There will be no charge for collecting your order.

Your order will be ready for collection on the date and time as selected on the Checkout Page. You will be notified if there is any change in order requirements. Pickup times are weekdays; Monday to Friday between 8h00 and 17h45 and on Saturdays from 8h00 to 16h45.
